This candle is appropriate for period from approx late 17C to around mid Victorian. Sold in dipped pairs, these are candles for the wealthy in society.

Dipped tallow candles (pair) with cotton wick. Cotton wick was introduced around the late 17C. Probably used more in beeswax, the cotton wick was thought to be superior to flax wick.
These candles are handmade, to your order, using traditional methods. Please allow up to three weeks for this process, however, if you have tighter deadline please let us know and we will try to meet it.
