New for 2008. LED (Light Emitting Diodes) are fitted under the base of the glass globe to illuminate it. The red, green and blue LEDs can be set to change automatically through the colour range, or, a single colour can be selected. This causes the embedded flowers to be tinted with the appropriate colour. LEds should last several thousand hours. Power is from 3 x AA batteries or from a mains adaptor (supplied).
